It would be impossible to come to Beijing and not see one of the most famous landmarks in the world, the Great Wall of China. Few people leave Beijing without seeing it, mainly because it is in the heart of the city and the People's Palace perched on its edge offers a great view of Beijing's central business district and skyline.
Badaling is the easiest place to access the Great Wall of China from Beijing, making it one of the busiest. The Summer Palace is another famous landmark in Beijing, which is best reached by car or taxi. Located in the heart of Beijing's central business district, just blocks from Tiananmen Square, the Summer Palace is a popular tourist destination for tourists from around the world.
So, put this place at the top of your list of activities in Beijing and see for yourself! Maybe it should have been higher on the list of "things to do," but it's worth seeing anyway.
